Default What kind (brand) of Front and rear brake pads for IS250?

hi everyone.
I have to change brake pads on both axles. I would like to enhance stopping power a little. Is is worth to buy OEM brake pads which is about $47 a set on sewell , or maybe buy some Duralast from Autozone for $30 a set? My last Duralasts on Nissan Altima were pretty good , now I changed for OEM ones (on Altima) resurface the rotors and I feel a little worst stopping power. I trying to say maybe OEM pads are not the best option? What do you think guys?
Anyways Does sewell auto parts sending originall oem parts? Thank you.

Then buy better tires. That's the only sure way to stop the car shorter. The brakes don't stop the car, the tires do.

Your brake pads won't make any difference at all to the distance your car stops in.

Pads can change the feel of the brakes, but not the stopping distance of the car.

If you'd like to understand why, read this:
http://www.scirocco.org/faq/brakes/p...n/pfpage1.html

he gets to pads specifically on page 3:
http://www.scirocco.org/faq/brakes/p...n/pfpage3.html

Ths part might surprise some and offend others, but it is a big misconception that changing brake pad material will magically decrease your stopping distances. In fact, you may have even seen published "data" which attempts to correlate stopping distance to friction coefficient. Although it may appear that there is a relationship between the two, there really isn't, and here's why.
see article for the details of the why.

As to pads, if you're not driving the car on a race track, there's no reason not to use the OEM low-dust brake pads from Sewell.

(if you are driving it on a race track you'd likely want pads that won't be the best for normal street use)
