front Brakes and Rotors
My car is not even at 40 miles and the dealer wants to replace the rotors and brakes for $676 + tax (front rotors only)the service advisor told me that there is only 20% left on my brakes and the rotors can't be resurface because it is already thin. I want to know how much your Stealership charge you for this kind of maintenance. Thanks for your input.

$212 is what I was quoted for fronts only.
IF you only have 40 miles & your brakes are gone you must have been driving like this:

I think he means 40k, at least i'd REALLY hope so lol.
Either way, you shouldn't really need new rotors at 40k Unless you've been getting them wet when they are hot or something, you dont usually see them warp all that much on our cars.
$676 for just front brakes is crazy though. You can get the OEM front rotors + low dust brake pads for about $300 on Sewell. Pay a reputable shop an hour for labor and you should be set for around $400.
Though $676 is probably what i'd expect from most dealers.

If your car is still under warranty, take the car to the dealer and tell them the front brake pads are putting out too much brake dust. They will replace them for free with alternative brake pads. I had this done on my car at 33k. Then you would only have to pay for the rotors.
