thats a good price. some of the lexus mechanics are pretty sketchy. i met a mechanic and he also does side jobs at lexus and pockets the money. i mean its good for us, and there is nothing wrong with doing side jobs... but doing them at the dealership, using their tools, and pocketing all the money on top of their hourly pay? pretty messed up. Im not complaining but it makes me think of the dealerships in an entirely different way.

Not a bad price. That's about what I paid for to have lowering springs installed on my car.

Sounds like a damn good deal.

I've always done them myself, but shops around here charge like $100 per corner.

Sounds good. Just had my local dealership do my f-sport springs for $351.00 labor + 230.00 for the parts. Not a bad deal.

Edit - My rear sway bar install was $100 I believe.. can't remember exactly.

Thats a good price... considering he probably knows what hes doing and has all the tools. Its also good if you don't know what your doing or mechanically inclined. Although I must say I've installed coils/springs/shocks in most of my cars, installing coilovers are by far the easiest because you simply drop the full suspension out, and put the new one in and bolt everything back up.

I'd personally say if your not mechanically inclined, then do it yourself, just for the fact that later on down the road you may hear some weird noises or something and won't feel confident taking everything apart cause someone did it for you initially... Also I'd also do it myself so you can get a better understanding on how to adjust everything, this is super helpful and is very good for you in the future cause lets face it... if something happends you will be the one dealing with it, unless of course you pay someone else to check it out for you.

it's really hard to look for a less expensive shop to install this parts nowadays, been to many places but always they charging me the same, that's good you found someone who apparently worked and have experience in the type of your car that is willing to work beyond the company's back.probably the best thing that i want to suggest is to take an eye on the work that he's doing so you know that he's doing it properly....
