Default 250 dollars to install Fsport front/rear sway bars and my Ez Megan Coilovers

I met this mechanic who i bought my F sport sway bars from and he actually works for Lexus Putnam in redwood city, he said he will do the work at Lexus.. Originally he said 250 for just the coilovers and 150 for the sway bars.. but I bargain him down to 250 dollars to install both? Is that a good deal or should I wait?

Sounds about right. Exact did my coils for $220 after coupon. If you can't do it yourself, I'd go with the Putman guy. Not a bad price for both IMO.

If you are handy with tools, there are lots of DIY's in this forum including changing out springs, etc. In your case, it'll even be easier because you don't need a spring compressor to swap springs as a coilover is already a complete spring/shock unit. It's really not hard to do. But if you're not confident in your wrenching skills, then $250 is not bad for the coilovers and sway bars.

I'd say thats a really good deal, especially for getting it done at the Lexus dealership. I did the work myself and it took me a long time to do. If I could have paid someone 250 to do it for me, I would have jumped all over that. Plus, you'll probably get a loaner while your car is there

I think that's a good price for that whole job. I was quoted way more than $250 for labor by every dealership I called for installation of just the sway bars. $250 to have all that installed at a dealership (who I presume will warranty their work for 12 months) is a fair price to pay.

You guys are some serious tight wads. Tommy @ MusicBox charges $140 for sways and $150 for springs, thats $290. (I don't know how much for coilovers) but the pouint is if the dealer is willing to do both for $250 thats a deal. Not to meantion that the work will be/should be warrantied.
