The build on the TOM'S one is better all around and like Rominl said, it has two extra joint connections.
Don't get me wrong, the TRD one is great...but the TOM'S one is just better.

Installed it myself.
Okay, my digital camera sucks so i took regular pics and hope to scan.
ALL U NEED:
a 9/16 wrench (the same size that takes off the oil cap when u change the oil).
There are 6 screws that hold together the brace. Just unscrew the current one, and screw on the TRD brace.
The OEM brace is half as light as the TRD brace, they are equivlent in size, the OEM brace's brackets are sphere shaped, the TRD brace is square shaped.
The last screw on the passenger side is by the water outlet, so water will come out some (nothing to worry about).
Took me 1/2 an hour.
I drove the snot outta my car on some backroads around here, IMO the car felt more secure where I was directing it. The nose of the car feels solid. In other words, the car would be pointed one direction, the wheels another and it felt good. There rear feels even less secure now. Then again, it could all be in my head.
For less than $200, why not. The finish is almost identical to the TRD STB most of us have. I'm happy. Sways go on soon with stock shocks/springs with a report to come.

Dave- I have to correct myself. Only 2 of the links are replacement parts(the two straight pieces). The other 4 are additional.
I finaaalllllyyyy got time to finish my install. Well actually still got the lower brace to do, maybe i'll do that next week.
At first glance it looked like it was all replacement, but upon install it was not . I tried to take pics. , but they came out bad since i was so low to the ground. If i had a lift i probably could have gotten some good pics. Just imagine trying to take pics under a car with not much clearance.
