You can't screw them up really. You would have to try REALLY hard.

Read the instructions first and foremost. Generally a mid-range setting keeps shock rate good enough to be daily driven but keep the car from bottoming out on a dip in the road or a bump, etc.

K thanks! I just installed them saturday, and love them! I had a little bumper scrape at first, but I raised it a little and increased the dampening rate. The main issue was the fact that I lost the directions and later found them (-_-") but thank you!

So you don't chew through it since your car is lowered.

It takes a little while to get your suspension dialed in to where you are happy with the height (which can also be affected by the preload as well as adjusting the mount), the spring preload, and dampening. I'm pretty sure you're going to want to tinker around with the settings next time you have your car up off the ground, and while you're at it, relocate your fender harness.

Thanks for the tip.... Its a possibility that my tires wont sgd o any damage, but owning a shop myself, it shouldnt be to hard to put the car on the lift and do the harness tear down... But thanks!

decided I would just post in this thread instead of making a new one.

Installed some stance gr's. And I want to raise the ride height. The manual says to leave at least 1.5-2 inches of thread shock body in the lower portion of the shock. How do I know if I have enough in there? I want to raise it, but I'm afraid i'll run out of threads.

You could try putting masking tape at the lowest visible threads, and then remove the lower mount? That's a bit of a hassle. I'm not sure how Stance's are, but my BCs have a little window in the lower mount to show you how much room you have to go up. You could also try to put more preload on the springs, but that'll also stiffen your ride...

Yeah I'm not trying to take out the coilovers. That would be a huge pita. Will adding more preload to the springs raise the ride height?

No!!!! I do not recomend u adjust the preload without prior experience, doing so voids the stance warranty
