Toms rear lower suspension brace how-to
Did a (few) search(s) and couldn't find anything on a how-to for the 6-pc kit. Anybody have the instructions translated? or their own how-to version?
At a minimum, torque specs and gotchas woul be heplful.
Thanks!

nudder - I haven't installed my 6 link kit yet but from looking under the car. It's bolt off the stock links and bolt on the tom's 6 links.
Reason i haven't installed is because i ran out of time when i did the front lower brace and it got dark.
And there is no specific torque # , so i assume tighten till its tight, or look for the stock torque #'s and use them.
Good luck. You won't need it though.

I could gaurantee there is a specific torque for all the suspension components...I ordered the Vol i and Vol ii set of service manuals for the gs, so I could always have specs handy
I do my own work
(should get them in like a week or so)

All the Tom's stuff (including six link) I've bought have had instructions all in Japanese w/very little pictures - I feel your pain . Can't even go online to translate it like a webpage.
I think Manaray had an install post, but not really a DIY.Click here for a link to that post that might be helpful as it has pictures.

Just what I needed, Thanks!
Thanks everybody.
DaveGS4 - nice find!
The pics are almost as good as a how-to. I'll just slightly loosen/crack the nuts and then use a torque wrench to tighten em up a bit to se how tight they were. Assumption is, they were on right.
Looking forward to seeing how planted the rear stays. Regardless, I'll get bored in a month and add the LCB soon enough.
Thanks again.

Dave - The 6 pc is a replacement part. I had the car jacked up , tools in hand to do the job . I located the stock pcs , then ran out of light so i stopped there.
Nudder - I finally had time to look up the torque #'s for you in the manual.
The 4 pc's that are solid is 50nm and the 2 pcs that move is 75nm .

Good luck on finishing up your install. I'm a big fan of mine.
