Exclamation Wheel clearance. 19's

How's it going? New to club Lexus, but have a troubling question. I have an '06 250 RWD and want to purchase strasse s5's. My stock wheels barely seem to clear in the rear fenderwells behind the wheels. I can fit a finger or so behind the wheel. I don't believe the rear wheels are stock size though. They seem wider than other 250's I've seen. The question I have is I am going to buy19" s5's but was told to go 19x9 fronts and 19x10.5's rear. I absolutely do not want to cut or roll fenders. I was thinking 19x8.5 fronts and 19x9.5 rear. Is that more realistic? Will there need to be some sort of suspension modification required? any help is greatly appreciated. Also, preference in suspension? Coilovers or f sport springs and shocks? Thank you.

Yeah, 19s are not stock. And you are also correct...you'd have issues with rubbing with the 10.5s. But I'm not so sure you'd not have some wheel well rubbing with the 9.5s on the 19s still. Are you lowered at all currently or plan to?

I appreciate your help. I have not lowered the car yet but plan to. The rear for some reason only has a 1/2-3/4 inch wheel well gap, but the front has about 3 inches. everything is stock suspension wise. I don't have anything in my trunk with weight either.

Do you have a pic of the car you could show us for the wheels?

I have the 08 RWD, and also notice the front is a bit higher (I didn't measure), than the rear and it has stock wheels.

I plan to lower my car in the future but will use the shock/springs from the x-package to lower the front 0.4".

I had 20x9 and 20x10.5 on my IS250 but i know they've done numerous set ups both standard no rub and aggressive on 2IS's!

I have 20x9 and 20x10.5 and all you need to worry about are the offsets.

If you do standard fitment from them with a 10.5 rear, there's absolutely no rubbing with the proper tires. Remember when the 3 piece wheels go wider, they go wider toward the inside (wheel well) not the outside, unless you request an aggressive offset like some of the CRAZY guys here haha. There's lots of room inside
