Default Do You Have To Be Slammed When You Have Coils?

I am maybe looking in to getting a set of BC Coils but do not by any means want to be so low I can't even get a floor jack under it. Basically height wise I want to eliminate wheel gap but I really like the idea of having adjustability. I would like the ride to be stiffer but be able to change that from day to day, week to week, etc etc... I have had the F-Sport spring and shock combo and found it to be ok...I liked the stock shocks with the F-Sport springs better. I am totally new to the idea of coilovers but would like some info from you guys who are pro's.

coils will answer all your needs. Height and dampening adjustibility. BC are a great coil and has awesome reviews by members on CL.

One of the reasons why people get coilovers is to set it to what suits their driving style. It doesn't automatically mean "Coilovers, yea! Gotta slam!" I have BC coilovers and tucking about 0.5" of tire. I can also get a floor jack under the car no problem. This is the lowest I'll probably go because this is my DD and having it any lower will limit to where I can go.

to answer the question. NO, the highest setting is pretty much higher than stock all the way down to "slammed".
Go the way you want to roll.

My question is what will happen if you go lower than the dealer says?I m on Tein cst and i thought that i could easily go to no finger gap but my car has 1finger fronts and half on the rears. The dealer told me that this is as low as i can go.I don't like this gap that's the reason i went with coils so i m asking you what will happen if i go lower?Has someone done it?

Tein don't slam the IS from alot of the review I've seen. So your outta luck on that brand of choice. But make sure yourself that the coils are max out.

When i was looking the reviews people were telling me that Tein cst can go easily to no finger gap and that it has very smooth ride.I m very satisfied of the ride quality but i wish i could fill this gapThe coils aren't maxed out for sure but if i lower the car as i want will that shorten the coils life?

Why don't you start a poll asking people how long they had their coils before they had to replace/rebuild them?

I don't truck my car at all and the truth is that i use it just for weekends the only thing is that Athens roads are very bad so that's the only reason i m afraid for the coils life .The ride know is almost as stock and i guess if i lower a little more i ll have to stiffer the setting of the coils. What do you think?
