I did try that but I think the problem was the Mickey moused adapter I was using to press it in kept making it go in crooked. I ordered the spc kit that figs used for their installs. I also removed the rubber boot from the bushing so I had more surface area to work with. I used the sleeve from the kit and it pushed right in. Once it was in a bit then I used a socket as the guide to finish.

Was I was getting a clunk/pop on the rear left wheel area over small imperfections on the road and when i held the wheel (1oclock and 7oclock) and shook it in and out there was almost 1/4" play which visually came from the outer tie rods (Aristo with rear steer) and axle carrier bushing.....I changed out all the rubber bushings on all the arms to Trd(all oem ones still in good condition), axle carrier bushings to Figs,Inner and outer tie rods and rear upper control arms with new Toyota items.
.
So now I am still getting a clunk on the left side....I switched the coil overs to opposite side and same thing on the left, and I noticed later on too that on the rear right which I was not getting a clunk or noise before has now developed a clunk just like the left side!
The left wheel no longer has any play in it and the right is also solid, but my next plan of action is to switch back the coilovers to their original position to confirm that its not the problem at least on right side which I know had absolutely no noise before .
The steering rack itself seems solid and as I said before has no play in the wheels again and all bolts confirmed tight.
I need your guys opinions....

Problem is the bc coilovers. Switched back to oem shocks and not a sound! And of course found a million and one threads across all car forums saying the same thing about these after the fact.
These coils have about 12000miles on them but numerous ppl have said they get this out the box....So be aware.

First of all, Thanks for this thread! Couple of weeks ago I noticed same problems in my GS450h 2009. Sound is like brick bounces in the trunk when going over speed bumbs.
I'm not sure is it dead shock or bushing. I have lifted passenger side up and tried to shake wheel & arms, but not found any clear reason.
SO, is this carrier bushing problem only Gen2 GS problem or also Gen3 GS problem..?
If you know the correct bushing for GS450h 2009, please share the link/info. Thanks in advance!

Rx330 2004 is this bushing on rx330?
champ, whenever you find them I suggest u buy them. I ordered mines right after lyonkster without knowing if they would even work, because i saw the ebay guy only had 2 left. these things are incredibly difficult to find. we've only seen the ebay guy in ireland and the shop in new zealand sell these. i searched for this problem with the 1st gen is 200/300 and some of those owners didn't know about these.
k8
is this related to the 2004 rx330 bushing. Issue clunking noise ?

How do I make my gs300 a smoother ride
I have changed the link bars sway bars upper and lower arms bushings ball joints but when I’m driving my rear back passenger wheel feels like it’s bouncing over every little bump I go over took it over to kwik fit they done a severe shake check and couldn’t find anything it’s so frustrating that it actually feels like that wheel is going to break off is there anything specific that needs changing iv changed the link bars at the back already what else could it be ,someone told me that it could be the axle bushing but I ain’t to sure
