Default Rear Pads Only - Seized Slider Pin

Hi, I'm going to change out my rear brake pads over the weekend. I am going to use the OEM Lexus pads so the pad material isn't going to change and I'm not doing anything to the rotors.

I was wondering if I would need to "break-in" the new pads even though it's the same material. If so, what would the process be?

UPDATE: Pads never got installed due to the seized slider pin on the driver side. I never got to look at the passanger side but I don't expect it to be any different. Anyone have advise on how to fix the slider pins?

Thanks for the advise!

Thanks! I've been searching the "net" about this and nobody really mentions a dedicated procedure for just the rear pads so I would have eventually just done the standard bedding process as described by stoptech. It just seems a bit over-kill.

Severe head aches

Just break it in anyways.

Well I tried to replace my pads yesterday and..... FAILURE!!!! The lower slider pin is SEIZED!
I looked up the past service history of the car and it appears the 9LB Service Campaign was done in 2009 and I'm out of warranty. Unless this is covered under the Drivetrain warranty it looks like I'm screwed. If anyone has instructions on how to handle/fix this issue, I'd really appreciate it.
