I just bought a 1992 sc400 and the brakes on all sides needed to be replaced. I went to the auto parts store and bought both sets for the front and the rear. I then was able to replace the front brakes no problem.

When i got to the rear i noticed they were about 1/4in LONGER!! I went back to the auto parts store and this was the only size they had for this model and year. I looked up the auto parts number on the website for lexus and took this to the store and they still had the same brakes number as well as the match up with the VIN,

Does anyone know whats up with this?? i need the brakes replaced, i do not know what size to get.
