Default Question on parts for rear LCA's

Seems like megan and battle version make the rear LCA. Mine are shot, I just realized one of my bushings were bad on the right side, and it's caused a lot of tire wear.

I was wondering if anyone have used either units.

bver doesn't make rear lca's. he makes toe rods and traction rods, and i don't think megan makes lca's either. If your ball joints are fine, get a prothane rear bushing kit and replace the bushings.

Really? I swore that's what I saw, I could've been wrong lol.

I googled a prothane bushing kit, but I couldn't find anything that wasn't OE. I found a few part number for the OE bushings, but nothing aftermarket

afaik, there's no aftermarket that sells lca bushings only. The prothane comes with the bushings necessary for the lca, toe rods, traction rods, uca, etc. google 18-304 bl.

Hey thanks a lot! I'm going to order the kit, seems like it's pretty solid. What do you think of hte kit?

I love mine, but then again, I have marshmallows for comparison. got the front and rear done.
The only caveat is that your ball joints need to be good.
also, it's not exactly a typical DIY job. you will need a press to get the bushings out. I tried burning them out, and made a mess. the cheapo harbor freight press made quick work of them, and was well worth the investment (and cost savings of having a shop do any of the work).

Aw crud, my ball joint is bad. I guess I'll have to find some ball joints too. You got a link to that press you bought?

I burnt out every one of my bushings, even did the same for the diff bushings on my subframe. Really simple once you get the hang of it.
But, if your ball joints are bad, I'm afraid you'll have to buy new arms. I'm sure that you can press out the ball joints, but I'm not sure you'll be able to find new ball joints to press in.

Again, you sir are correct, no one seems to make rear LCA ball joints. I guess I'm in the market for some then lol
