Ever thought of making your rear stb in a similar fashion like this? (This is the Tanabe rear stb I plan on ordering btw)
Notice how the oem sub woofer was still retained? ^^^
Dude you posted, a long time ago, when I had the bad thread that got killed. That you had "already" ordered one of these from Tanabe Japan, & was just waiting on its arrival. Now a year or more later, your saying you still need to get one... NO... Ive never thought of making a RSB like that "toothpic" looking style bar that you already claimed to have ordered. Sorry bro, but your getting cought "fake".
The next pix you will see, will be even better. Thanks for the intrest.
Got some new photos of my latest edition to my bar. I really like the gusset's that ive added. This bar is super stout now. If there was any flex before. There is ZERO now. Man my welder guy can lay a pretty bead.
What difference did you notice in your SC's handling with this RSB?
It tightened up the rear, with less chassis flex. I def makes a differance in handling while cornering. Feels more stable making moves at higher speeds. This is the differance that Ive felt. There are other member of this forum & lextreme that have one & have noticed the same differance.
I'm confused as to why there are bolts used. It seems like it will just act like two hinges and only transfer the flex of one side to the other. If there was only one bolt and one side welded it would be an improvement. Ideally I would want mine to be solid all the way with it tying in at the top of the package tray area to trianglate the top of the struts thus removing the need to gusset the bends at the top.
∧∧∧What the heck are you guys talking about?? I've seen so many strut bars with bolts for the tower to the bar. If you analyze how it works I don't see how the hell would it transfer flex from one side to the other as the towers are mounted firm on the strut towers.
I agree, my Carbing front bar is one piece. I would still like to know who sells a good rear bar.
Umm, There is NO company that makes one for sale @ this time. Im the only person that currently makes these. One day you might find one that will be prettier than the one I make but,not one that will work better. Pretty is cool, but its still not seen. Function is what is key here.

I know right. Man everybody is an engineer, when they start thinking. The carbing bar is the only bar that I know of for SC's that is completely welded. Thats only doable in the front. I have to install my in 3pcs to get it in there. Now maybe just maybe, If it was welded together I could get it in there if I removed the sub, but thats just another PITA. Its not necessary. It works perfect the way it is now.
I love how ppl say my bar doesnt work, when they dont have one, nor have they ever tried one.
