Got some new photos of my latest edition to my bar. I really like the gusset's that ive added. This bar is super stout now. If there was any flex before. There is ZERO now. Man my welder guy can lay a pretty bead.
One all cleaned up, the other needing final prep.

It tightened up the rear, with less chassis flex. I def makes a differance in handling while cornering. Feels more stable making moves at higher speeds. This is the differance that Ive felt. There are other member of this forum & lextreme that have one & have noticed the same differance.

I'm confused as to why there are bolts used. It seems like it will just act like two hinges and only transfer the flex of one side to the other. If there was only one bolt and one side welded it would be an improvement. Ideally I would want mine to be solid all the way with it tying in at the top of the package tray area to trianglate the top of the struts thus removing the need to gusset the bends at the top.

∧∧∧What the heck are you guys talking about?? I've seen so many strut bars with bolts for the tower to the bar. If you analyze how it works I don't see how the hell would it transfer flex from one side to the other as the towers are mounted firm on the strut towers.
