Very nicely done man props to you for DIY. You guys should look into Ultra Racing braces. They don't have one for sc300 yet but it should be nice if some DIYer like you do something similar.

umm. your suppose to take the strut covers off. So it doesnt sit so high & use the strut bolt nuts to anchor it. I would advise changing that.

There seemed to be enough threads on the strut bolts, but I can see that idea. Thanks for posting my pic. up, wish I could upload from my camera to C.L. , but apparently the pic size is to big.

Now couldnt you extend the bar to the end of the mounts and add 1 additional bolt to both ends and make it less flexible and more robust??

That would require alot more fabrication. Promise you it has ZERO flex. But that would make it like its welded.

Strut bar looks great and the quality looks top notch.

and for anyone that thinks a RSB does nothing, you must have never used one. I personally feel that a RSB does more than the front. I have no experience with them on a SC but I had one in a Del Sol and lets just say it stiffened my chassis enough to were it prevented the targa top from rattling.

I can understand the amount of extra fabrication that would take. Never the less, you have made a beautiful piece and I could def see myself with one of these as I am looking for FUNCTION!

Re: enough threads

Make certain you have at least 1/2 nut's worth above the top of the nut when done.

every car is different. SC is a pretty stout car and really has no need for a rear STB.
