Suspension and Brakes Springs, shocks, coilovers, sways, braces, brakes, etc.

So has anyone figured out how to solve the brake rattle problem?

Dude, tennis ball sound against carpet means that the car is solid, and tight as a ****. Nothing rattles anymore.

I don't think he plans to replace anything on the gs anymore, seeing how he just sold it. On a side note, I didn't mess with my brakes this weekend but I did replace my starter. At first I thought the job was gonna be a beeahtch, but not really. Looks complicated but its really not hard. It looks like there is no room for even the smallest tools but with a swivel and plenty of extension(s) it can be done.

Its not the sways. Plus I have the daizen bushing in them. I also tapped them, and inserted Zerk fittings so that you can re grease with a gun.

my mechanic was trying to address this issue for me because I have been complaining about it for a long time.

He said it was the parking brake assy... he put it on order but I never got around to get it installed I've gotta get it done and let you all know.

Its amazing how loud it is from the outside of the vehicle. when the windows are rolled up you cant hear that sound at all.

I love my car but I also hate all the little noises it makes. especially after replacing so many things.

^ Don't get the 4.4 if you're going to get the X5.
