Hi CLers,
I've been having trouble change out my rear brake pads. I have a 2008 IS250, and I've read the DIY guide that is linked in the stickied post, but the pictures aren't loading so I can't see what I'm doing wrong, and I'm having trouble getting the slider pins out.
I've tried twisting and turning them, using a hammer on them, soaking them in WD-40, I just can't seem to get them out, so as a result, I can't get the brake pads out.
If you guys have any tips or recommendations, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks

Make sure you removed the retaining wire that goes from one slide pin to the other. After just use a thin screw driver and a light tap should do the trick. If that doesn't work try spraying it with some PB Blaster.
There's just one more spring that is there to help keep the pads aligned.
