Tire? Aligment? tire rod? ball joint?
Hi all,
I was driving for 2 hours straight in the rain in last Tuesday. At the end of getting home, I was turning left on the highway 60mph and the car shifted to the right. At first I thought it was the rain on the road. I drove my car again to local store and came back home. My Steering wheel was like 10 to 15 degree to the left but my car was driving straight. I was turning left to my home and feel a little drifted to the right. I haven't driven ever since. I call the Alignment guy and I dont have an appt till Monday afternoon.
I did the upgrade on my front wheel from 16" to 17" tires/rims. Upgraded to LS400 brakes, spacer, RCA without any problems about 2 years ago. I changed my ball joint 2 years ago will did the upgrade to the LS400 calipers/brakes.
Could it be the Tire? Aligment? tire rod? ball joint? Should I call a tow truck? My Mechanic is like 5 miles away. I dont know that much about cars.
Thanks!

did you hit anything while you were driving??? or few days ago???? it couldn't be your ball joint showing it's going bad or it could be your bushings.... to check bushings put your car in drive and let the car roll and slam on the brake see if you feel any movement on your wheel you can feel it. or you can try to push your tire front or back with your feet to see if there is any movement. it should be solid. the best way is to raise it and check it out from the bottom of the car though.

I remember that was minor hit on past Sunday but I hit a big bump last winter where my right tires got a bubble. I changed my ball joints 2 years ago while did the upgrade to the LS400 calipers/brakes. I will check the bushing tomorrow. Thanks!
