Default New EDFC install.....

Hey guys, just installed the EDFC on SAT with a friend. The EDFC is controlling my TEIN CS coilovers. Take a look, tell me what you think of the install. Took us about 4 hours....

BTW: It's nice to be able to reach it without taking your eyes off the road!

Having control over the quality of the ride is such a sweet feature. The motors work very quickly to get you to the setting you want. This is a must have if you have TEIN coilovers. I'm very impressed.....

Thanks. Only rub is you can't have a strut bar too, right?

Also, would love to hear what it feels like driving at different settings. How quick does it change too?

Bit: Yeah, I'm not sure that there's a STB that will fit over the motors right now. The changes are slight but you will feel it from one extreme to another. It takes about 3 secs. for the front motors to adjust from soft to hard (16 clicks) and another 3 secs for the rears. Again, it all depends on how much of an adjustment you are making. What's nice about the EDFC is the presets. You have 3 presets to store settings. My presets are very soft (like stock), hard (like bilstein), and combo of both. The EDFC is probably something you won't use everyday but is sure nice to have. You can change the settings while encountering rough roads.

I have the RMM strut tower bar and the EDFC. I havent got around to installing the EDFC yet(hopefully tomorrow), but just from looking, it def. looks like the motors will fit with the RMM strut tower bar. I will post feedback after I install them.

Those of us with built up stereo systems in the trunk, the EDFC is a must have. I cannot get to the top of the struts in the rear due to the stereo set up, so the EDFC will def come into use for me.

Hey guys, just FYI but I'm working on making some STB's that work with the EDFC and the GS300's w/o any "spacers" or whatnot...these will be started right after the brake package deal is finalized...hopefully before Christmas!

LXO - Nice install! Glad you like it!

Am I reading wrong? or I am just too dump to know this. There is a EDFC for Type CS? I thought that is only for Type Flex. Since I have the Tein CS and Installed it for almost one year. But I never know there is the EDFC for it. Where to get it and how much for it? Please let me know the Info.thanks. Really want one for my Type CS.

the same edfc will work with flex, ha, ra, and cs. i believe someone checked it out and they all have the same kind of head and bolt type. so you basically just hook up the edfc to the top of the suspension and boom there you go

Very nice! I am seriously considering getting the edfc. I would love to have to option to change my suspension by the push of a button. That way I can change the ride depending on what mood I am in that day....speed racer...or grandma driver.

BTW, did you install the controller over the lower vent?

I'm hoping to do the EDFC install myself. Has anyone done this themselves? I can put together a stereo system no problem..just wondering if there's anything special I need to pay attention to putting them with the HAs.

thx
