Dropping on springs

Dropping on springs
So I'm looking to lower my sc300 on springs like an inch and a half. I don't ever plan on going lower than that so I didn't think investing in coils was worth it. I'm wondering if lowering on springs is a better alternative for just a 1.5" drop? And what spring brands are a good fit for the sc. I could lower on coils, but if I can save and accomplish my goal on springs I would. And springs are pretty easy to install if I'm not mistaken?

Springs are easy. To get the 1 and inch drop that you are after, I would suggest getting the TT struts and those lowerings of any brand. How deep your pocket are is the spring that I owuld go with. The TT struts will lower the car a mere inch, then the spring will do the rest. You cant mix and match springs and struts from the SC to TT.. Must use TT stuff all together, and SC stuff all together, no swapping.
if you want to use the struts from the SC, go with Tokico blues and Esplier springs, if you can find them. Tanabe and Eibach give a moderate drop, around an inch or so, but the Tanabe a slight bit more in the front. The choice is yours and GL..
Over and OUT!!
