aftermarket springs with stock shocks
Hi
I've recently installed 19" wheels and I really want to lower the car now , I don't like the slammed look , I just wanna make the gaps smaller , so after taking a look at the sticky thread I think I'm going with the eibachs as it's the least drop there is (correct me If I'm wrong).
so my question is this , will the stock shocks in anyway be "harmed" or suffer more if I put those springs on ? I mean since the springs are stiffer than stock I'm thinking shocks will have to do more travelling up and down ? I'm a complete noob to this stuff so please help me out .
I just don't want to see my shocks leaking after a while from using the springs.
Thanks alot.

Since the spring is stiffer than stock, the shock travel range will be less as it is harder to compress stiffer spring.
But the shock have to do more work to absorb higher spring force and hence shorten its service life.
