Yes, it is possible. I have 92 SC300 LCA arms on my 98 SC300 and the 92 SC300 that I got the arms from has 93-96 supra LCA.

SC number 1 is a 92 SC300 that i removed the stock LCA and installed supra LCA.

SC number 2 is a 98 SC300 that had bad bushings. I took the LCA from SC number 1 and installed prothane bushings to put into SC number 2.

I guess I should have summarized. Basically I'm running 1992 SC arms with prothane bushings in my 1998 SC.

My point was that the arms are interchangeable between the years. 92-96 SC, 97-00 SC, and 93-98 supra arms will all fit.

what i dont understand is why theres such a headache about people fighting and hunting down 97 bushings which are longer if theyre interchangeable. especially with pre97 SC's being everywhere.

how long have you been running that setup and do you drive it often?

I wonder why the bottom link says "fits 91-96 ... late 97-and up will not work as the arm is different arm" if they are interchangeable? I have a '97 and hope the supra LCA fit.

The OP is asking about the arms, not a bushing swap. 97+ bushings are different.

Because they are only applying that to the SC400. at the table under:

"This part is suitable for the following models:"

If you have 97+ SC400, you're a no-go. If you have a 97+ SC300, you're golden.

so now 97 400 arms are different from 97 300 arms? also if the bushings different changing the entire arm shouldnt go without detriment id think? now i dont know what to believe.

edit: entire bushing AND arm.

I didn't even see that table. I guess I'll be getting the supra LCA in the near future. Thanks for clearing that up for me

I've been on this setup for about 6 months and have put a little over 1k miles on the car.

A friend of mine is running supra arms on his 97 SC300 with no problems.

97+ sc300 and sc400 have the same lca part numbers from lexus, so they are the same. I have no idea why Carson didn't list it on their website.
