i just got a set of fron rotors, they were givin to me as a gift, i don't know much about Bradi, they are the same size as the factory rotors and they are sloted and drilled, are they good or whats the deal on those rotors, does anyone here has them or know much about them, let me know thanx

These rotors are made in Italy in the same city as Brembo. Supposidly, they are from the same foundry...I dont' know that to be fact though.

I have see the rotors and they look pretty good and feel solid. Several members have them on their car and so far, no one has reported anything bad...

I wouldn't hesitate putting them on my car.

I've also been told that Bradi is the sister company of Brembo. I think they even share the same factory. The story behind Brembo & Bradi is the father gave the business to his 2 sons and the one split off and made Bradi. I am pretty sure how it is.

Bradi is definately a great rotor and I have them on my car and have sold them to many many others here.

I have had the Bradi's on my SC for over a year and a half... so far, so good, NO warp problems, but when braking hard, you can "feel" the slots in the wheel.... not a big deal. MUCH MUCH better than the overpriced factoy rotors....

how big of a difference between the factory and sloted/drilled, can you feel it, how much faster would u say it stops the car

I can't reallt tell you how much faster the car stops, as I never measured the before and after results, but after several hard stops, I can tell you the factory rotors WOULD fade, before they would warp, but the Bradi's don't seem to fade much at all. Those isssues in themselves are enough to make me happy. I just heve not seen the Bradi's even hint of warpping...

A simple rotor swap will not change the world in terms of braking abilities but a rotor and pad swap can improve it quite a bit. Steel braided lines will change the feel and take out the "mushiness" of the brake pedal.

But don't expect to stop 10 feet shorter than stock with just a rotor upgrade. Even with a big brake kit, OVERALL stop distance don't improve massively...what you want is improved brake feel and fade resistance.

Rotors/Pads/Lines are the first step...the next step is to upgrade to a better system like the 4-piston Supra TT setup or PearlPower's 4-piston Wilwood setup.

After that, you get into the "big leagues" with full bore race ready brake system like the Wilwood 6-piston setup (check out the GS forum...first thread), AP Racing 6-piston, Project-Mu 6-Piston, Brembo 4-Piston, Stop-Tech 4-piston, etc., etc...
