So blew a shock sometime this past week, dont know how or when, but its gone.
Was wondering who else has blown a shock?
I am on stock shocks and Tein S-Tech springs. I have brand new Work wheels arriving next week(), so I am upgrading to coilovers so i dont run the risk of blowing one of the other shocks and ruining a new set of wheels and my fenders (new wheels are somewhat aggressive). It's a good investment in my eyes to switch to coils and protect my major investment (wheels).

A few others here with a blown shock around the same mileage, interesting. Is there a "recommended" shock replacement interval? If there is I have never heard of it.
Yes, you could. My left rear dropped 2-3" or more with the shock blown. With a flush fitment and slightly stretched tires, how would your fender not do some damage to your rim? Maybe not "ruin" but your rim would not be perfect anymore I have brand new wheels, wouldn hate the slightest scratch on them.
