good news....

Today I installed my shock and insert the silencer.... I put in three silencer ring toward the top... bottom don't need silencer... test drive around.. no more clunk noise... What I notice when I put the silencer is the spring seem rubbing each other on the top... Hope this helps all of you that having this problems...

Big difference w/ F-sport shock... way better then stock... hopefully will replace the rear soon.. I will update in the next couples of day if the problem still occur.

So the revised springs came bare ? no silencers included ? Anyway in regards to the silencers, those were on the Teins that I installed on my Wifes F-Sport and there is no noise at all. So I can say i can vouch for the silencers they work !

I've got just the revised F-sport springs and I do notice a creaking sometimes coming from the front suspension. I wasn't sure if it was the springs or not because the revised springs were supposed to eliminate the clunking/creaking noises. I'll have to look into these Tein silencers now.

I'm on the mobile site so I don't know how to edit my previous post. But the revised springs were only for the rear springs. The clunking/creaking in the front will have to be taken care on our own unfortunately. Like the OP and others have said, Tein silencers are probably our best bet to fixing this problem.

Same noise issue with my F-Sport springs installed on my IS-250 (08). Changed out the X-package springs. After noise started, I installed new shock mounts, retorqued and noise is still there. Any other thoughts? Annoying!!!!!!

Default F-sport Springs metailic clunk

Just received the Tein silencers. Should have them installed in the next few days.....any tips on installing them? Do you need to remove the springs from the car or just raise the car with everything intact to insert the silencers? (I assume removing the wheel goes without saying. )

just jack the car up and remove the wheel and you should be able to insert the silencer..

If the problem still occur.. most likely is the shock/strut.. I have to replace my two front and it is so much better then the stock.. f-sport shock and f-sport spring is good combo..

good luck bro...
