^^^ That totally sux to hear...

I don't see how anyone can hide that kind of damage. I'm sure the dealer will cover to fix that.

Hopefully, they find the rattle issue with your spring.

They found it...it was a loose bolt on the strut tower assembly.

and the damage wasn't even as bad as they made it out to be. No damage to the door (a little chip on the bottom) and the side skirt was just crunched up a little bit and they're replacing it. No harm, no foul. Good to know that Longo Lexus is on top of things and aren't as shady as some dealerships I've heard of...

at least they found what wasn't tightened properly.

And keep your side skirt when they replace it. You can sell it or use it later.

Hmm... going to have to get underneath my car now (just to double check!) ... I figured the rattle was normal due to the bad roads here, but now I'm worried I didn't tighten my bolts properly.
