I just did this today. The rotor will get seized to the hub, so I used some PB blaster and hit it over and over and over and over with a rubber mallet until I got some play. I even kicked it and cursed at it a little. After about twenty or so minutes, I was able to get it off. I wish I would have seen this thread first.

What size/thread are the little bolts to remove the rotor?
They are most likely rusted onto the hub. To get the rotor free off the hub, you need 1 or 2 bolts that will screw into the little holes you see in the picture. When you screw these bolts in, the bolt will push against the hub and then the rotor will "pop" off.
You took too many steps, all you need to do is remove the brake calipers then the rotors will come off.
Here is an example of what I'm talking about:

You're supposed to use the bolts that hold the calipers to the brackets, which is 14mm. Manufacturers really design it like that because they really expect the rotor to seize with the hub in time. But, 70% of the time, people just forget to remove the car from ebrake.
To the OP, if you really wanna find out the size of the axle nut, it's 32mm.

I got them off. I'm just out of the country and haven't posted. The hub nut definitely doesn't need to come off. One side just took a little beating with a rubber mallet, the drivers side took all my patience and a ball peen hammer. I imagine most people do forget to let off the ebrake, but I did not. I decided to change the lines while I was in there and that is where I'm stuck. I can't seem to break the lines free by myself. I have to get a buddy to help me. I am just bending the hard lines and making zero progress unscrewing the soft lines. Excellent info about the caliper bolts being the correct size to pull the rotor. This has turned into a very informative thread from a simple mistake on my part. Win.

FWIW, Line wrenches made the job soooooo easy. I bought 2 sets JIC I need to hold and twist the same size fittings. For others, that is not necessary for this job. 1 set of metrics will do the trick. Sadly, I cant remember the sizes. I finished the job a while back. Now Im trying to fit my widebody.... and finish gutting the car.
