Question need your lexus sc advice

first and foremost thank you for your advice. so i just purchased a 98 sc300 and love it but the brakes need changing. so I've gone through the forums and i realize that most people here do the ls400 bbk upgrade which is cool. ive had a hard time hunting down calipers that are in good condition so my dilemma is do i go the ebay route and get aftermarket pads and rotors that are close to oem or keep up the hunt for ls400 calipers?

p.s. this car will stay pretty stock and i got about 500-1000 miles left on the brakes

If the car is staying mainly stock I would just keep the brakes you have and just get new pads, rotors, and flush the fluid.

Exactly what AnonymousG said. When you replace the pads/rotors and do a full brake fluid flush it will make a world of difference. I would say go to Napa order stock replacement rotors, and order a nicer set of brake pads and it will be a pretty big difference.

And no, do not go the Ebay route. The pads are crap, dust like crazy. Rotors will warp pretty quick too. I made the mistake of that on my SC. Never again...
I have Ebay rotors on my corolla and so far they are fine. But, I don't beat on my corolla, and it has less than 100 hp.. lol

So, like I said earlier, Napa for stock rotors, and a nice setup for brake pads, flush the brake fluid, boom! You will be happy!
