Default People w/ Stance Coilovers, what are your inputs?

Before you guys start flaming on me, NO, I am not asking to compare stance vs this or that suspension. I just want inputs from people who currently own stance GR+ for their GS.

I'm considering ordering a set for myself, but I am worried about their stiffness. I plan to use them as a DD, probably around a 2.5" drop. Any of you guys find them to be "too stiff and uncomfortable?" I heard there's a good chance that stiff suspension will eventually loosen nuts and bolts all around the car. I personally like a somewhat-stiff feeling similar to BMW's. Thanks

I'm not sure how it is for the GS but for a G35 (previous car I owned), there were many many good reviews on Stance Coilovers for it. Every review i read were positive. It can slam the car and provide a very comfortable ride. One of the best coilovers made for the G35 for daily driven. Nothing but good reviews about them. Hope this helps.

i have the GR+.

running 18x8 3GS 245 40 18 w/ no gap all around.

this thing is stiff! runs well tho...

but i am trying to isolate this noise i have in the front. its so faint.. my friends think I'm cray!

i think it may be the aluminum strut mount or maybe the pretensioner is too stiff.... or not coil overs related... like loose end links or whatever.

other then that. it runs well ..

and i agree.. as if any lowered cars.. you'll hear slight creeks and rattles over time.... as i do take drives without music.

I think they're fine. I find it to be a very comfortable ride.

Just installed them. They ride great. I noticed my set didn't come with the adjustable camber plates for the front. I called the store and they said thats normal for second gen GS. Is that right?

Glad you got them. They're great.

As far as I know only PBM Coilovers come with Camber Plates. Stance does not.

I have them, no complaints on the ride but trying to tackle these noises down. Something like a rattling noise keeps coming from what seems like the right of the rear end. Is it me, or are coilovers always this noisy.?

This is my first car so obviously my first set of coils. Any input?

Definitely not from the coilovers. Check your bushings for your control arms, etc

No one has camber plates for the GS because we don't have McPherson struts to take advantage of it. Double-wishbone suspensions requires a different kit.

Thanks for the tip. Learning as I go. I'm gonna definitely start checking the bushings, all this noise is making my Lex feel cheap.

Check your sway bar end links. That's where my noise was coming from.

i have the GR+. with the set up i have, it's smooth. the only thing i hate is how they recommend adjusting from the lower part so you'll have to keep unbolting the lower parts it connects to. any experts out there that can give us tips on adjustments from the top instead of the bottom?
