I use an Klutch brand(from Northern Tools) 1/2 Impact Wrench(950lb. tq.) with my 33Gallon Compressor. The air consumption for the impact wrench is under my compressor's spec so the compressor has enough power. I do feel the Klutch impact wrench is a lot stronger than my 590lb.tq. Craftsman so it isn't the brand under spec.

I don't want to risk using extension cheater bar in case it snaps and I'll cry the ***** out of my wallet to tap at thing out. Already paid the shop to tap my rear sway bar link bolt. Don't want to pay $100 for that again. Might try to find someone with a 3/4 Impact wrench and bigger compressor to loosen those for me.

What did you set the compressor at? What size air hose? I've used that Klutch gun before and it can be powerful.
