Default Replacement shocks

My girlfriend's 2006 IS250 RWD is in need of new shocks. She is looking for whatever is going to retain the most comfortable ride. How are the HPs as a replacement? Or should she go with factory Toyota shocks? Also, what is the best place to get these things? I'm completely clueless when it comes to this Lexus stuff. Thanks in advance all.

If you just want a factory equivalent for replacement, you can order Tokico HP shocks from THMotorsports.
Even if they show on their site, I would call & make sure they have them in stock - I had to special order mine.

If you were looking for factory OEM spec, then go with the factory sport shock from Lexus which is a Tokico (customized to Lexus spec) which you can get from Sewell, therefore you would have a bit of the sporty feel if it does not have the factory sport shock already.

Tokico HP shocks is also a good alternative. It maybe a bit stiffer than than the factory sport one but it will work out great as well. I asked Tokico this question what the difference between the factory and HP were however they were unable to answer this however they do believe the HP is a bit stiffer.

What brand is the non-sport package shocks? I have a non-sport package and I have Tokico shocks.

I'll have Jeff Lange answer this this part; he told me a while ago what it was but I do not recall.

Tokico makes both the sport and non-sport package shocks.

the sport package uses different shocks from the "regular" shocks.

(which are both different from the F-sport shocks)
