Default Opinions on Tein SS Coils?

So I may be jumping in on a sweet deal but I did my research and found some pretty good and bad things about these coils. I am not sure whether or not they are true but what are your inputs on them?
I am currently dropped on H&R springs and I DO want to go about half in lower...
I read that these coils are really rough and cheap compared to other coils and some say to save up and get better coils as these happen to make some stumping noises here and there.
Can someone enlighten me before I jump in on these?

Not sure where you heard it from, but, at least for the Lexus applications, Tein SS coils are actually pretty good quality and ride fine. I've driven in cars with Tein SS coils and thought the ride was great even when the car is super low on them. I haven't heard of the stumping noise, but maybe someone who has owned a set for a while can chime in on that.

I had Tein SS on my RSX Type S and the ride quality was great. The ride felt like stock even on 2" drop but every (i don't know how miles) you put on them you gotta take them off and send it to Tein to get them re-bulit. They change the oil in the shock and replace wateva needs to be replace. Can get pricy tho. Im also in the market on looking for some coilovers but haven't heard much bout members using Teins for the 2is. The 1's i been hearing most are Megan EZ or LP's and BC Racing. BC Racing i heard you can send them your blown out or worn shock and they'll send you another for $75 each so i was looking into that. Plus they have great reviews on the fourms. Hope this helps wid your dicision

I had tein SS on my car for 3-4yrs'ish, you can go full slam on the front and not rub with a 19x9 +25 offset, hang turns like a champ, the drawback thou is that its a kidney buster when hitting a bump/pothole/whatever~

Knowing about tanabe sustec pro5/BCR and if i had to choose again, i'd go teinSS again. You can go low but it wont get you into fender trouble like alot of guys you see on the forum .

I'm confused. Why would these coilovers help with fender rubbing?

Tein are too soft. Drove my friends isf from Tennessee to Boston that he bought. It just didn't ride nice on the roads. Even still with a gap it bounced around alot and rub the tires. So for me ain't worth the money.

The coils are just a bit rough to ride. I would have gone with BC racing.

I'm guessing everyone had their setting on different levels because "too soft" and "rough" dont really go together well with me on one product lol
Well anyways, the only day I was free to get them, the seller didn't respond at all so I guess I'm gonna have to pass on these

Well all I know I put those setting to the stiffes possible and it was still a soft/bouncy ride. Didn't feel all that nice on a 16hr drive in the ISF.
