Default How to tell if my springs are TT springs?

I noticed that my car is sitting a little higher on one side than the other. I recently installed a new set of front shocks and had the springs out on the garage floor. I'm thinking that I may have installed a stock SC spring on one side and a TT spring on the other by mistake. How can I tell?

I noticed there are colored markings on the springs but I have no idea what they mean. Any help?

Well, I did some searching, and apparently those colored dots on the spring actually mean something.
If anyone is reading this, it turns out that our springs are DIRECTIONAL. This means that there is a left-side specific spring and a right-side specific spring. I am still trying to figure out which is which but I'm pretty sure that I put them in wrong, that is why my car is taller on one side. Hope this helps someone else!
(Also, if you are reading this way into the future, go ahead and bump it for the sake of other people who may come into the same problem! LOL!)

You probably did install one of each springs, if your theory is true, then all aftermarket shocks would have to be that way as well to cmpensate for the weight for each side?

HY!

I had the same problem, my SC was on the passenger side 2cm higher! i changed the complete suspension strut from left to right and back and the SC is on the driver side 8mm higher, and on the passenger side 8mm lower! but 12mm to high on the passenger side. this is normal. a friend measured his stock 99 SC400,the is 10mm to high on passenger side.

here a picture of my 97 SC spring vs the supra spring ( i think from a NA supra? )

greets

Tom

Tom, thank you for the response.

Your information is greatly appreciated. I see you are from Austria. Unfortunately, I do not understand your grammar. Can you please be a little more clear?

Thank you very much.
