How the hell do some of you guys get away with riding so low?

My SC isn't slammed or anything, but it's still tough to get around areas with huge potholes. I just go slow if the road looks bad and I make sure to plan out all of my trip beforehand.
The only real way around it besides raising your car up is to go with an air setup.

The thing is about the SC is that the from fender the frame is lower than it should. Wat you can do is bang it with a hammer like mad. Or you can tube it. If you know you're not gonna make it up a driveway or hatever just gun it through.
The GS is easier to drive sine there is. Lot of distance for wheel travel

That's what I'm saying. Being a kid doesn't exactly mean you're young, it means you think like a child. My point is, you don't go suggesting "grinder solves all problems" on the get go. You gotta think first. If you grind something, especially at the part where you don't get to clean often, and not paint it or whatever, then its gonna rust, right? Not to mention you might damage a critical part of the car and weaken its integrity. So, to you is that doing it right? Not flaming anyone, just trying to make a point.

I daily my SC and its pretty low, frame is a couple inches off the ground. I still go over speed bumps ect though. And in the front one of the first things you should do is hammer the metal tabs above the tire flat. That with relocating the wire harness should be done at the same time. And I still have full fender liners up front too because it looks dumb without them.

CalitriSC, do you mind posting pics of how you installed the fender liners? I'm contemplating on putting back on mine, cause yeah, it looks stupid without it. It bugs me a lot seeing the bare metal down there. And did you put the fender liners for the rear too?
I can still go over big *** speed bumps. Its weird that its harder to go through the small pointy ones.

Forgot to take a pic of how flat it is now, but you get the point.
The only reason I even considered to hammer it flat is because if you see the left part of it, its actually flat, but for some reason they made the seam to point downwards towards the right part of it. Probably for something the screws of the fender liner to hold on to.
