Post Spongy brake help!

I have a '07 IS250 and my brakes have become very "spongy" they stop properly and everything just the pedal feel has changed. Pads only have about 8K on them and brake fluid was flushed 1K ago..what else could be the problem? Thanks in advance!

did they feel that way since the flush? perhaps they didn't bleed the brakes properly and there's some air in there.
