so all in all,...parts alone $550,... and labor.....
where were these fools then???

Group buy on cross drilled rotors
My installer sells cross-drilled rotors.
If you guys are interested in a group buy ala the leather seats. I can get it arranged w/a big discount.
If you can get 5 or more there could be a big discount.
He uses cross drilled slotted rotors the same size as our stock rotors and metal master pads that last 4 times longer than stock and leaves no brake dust.
If you there is some interest, I'll get a thread.
Thanks.

I'll ask
These rotors might not be that great in quality. Keep that in mind.
I'll ask him to inquire about getting dealer prices on these rotors and also the ones I have which are only cross drilled.
And I'll ask him to give us a comparison.

I can get them cheaper than $280 for all four.
If you guys want a group buy going, I'll get it cleared with the Mods...
Rotors with plating will obviously cost more than ones without. People without the plating can paint their rotors with high temp paint to prevent rust to show on the hub.
I've sold to lots of guys here on the forum already, Howie, MadMax, ChairmnoftheBoard...

who makes them?
are they cross drilled and slotted? or just slotted or just cross drilled?

Be careful when buying performance rotors. Make sure they are good quality because cheap cross drilled rotors often crack and rust easily.
I heard that dimpled rotors are more durable are are almost as good.

Dimple drilled rotors are IMO crap. What is the purpose of dimple anyways?
Drilling let's the air vent through the rotor keep it cooler. Dimple drilling seems like it will make little "hot pockets" that would cause problems.
These rotors are drilled through and they do not touch the vents at all in our rotors.

Tony, I'm interested in CAD-plated rotors slotted and/or cross-drilled. Are they the same diameter as stock or larger? Can you ensure the quality of the rotors? Are these the specific ones you're selling? The Bradi Sportline?... http://www.bradi.it/en/prd_sport.html
As far as Metal Master pads lasting four times longer than stock, that only means they are chewing the hell out of the rotors. I prefer softer compound so that I go through pads instead of rotors. The newest Lexus OEM pads are gray in color and are composed of about 90% carbon-composite and 10% metal. They brake well and are soft enough to extend the life of my rotors a bit.

As most of you know, a lot of rotors out there are blanks that are professionally machined. The blanks my distributor uses will be Bradi. I guess I can do 2 different prices for both plated and non-plated rotors.
I have had these rotors on my car for at least 2 years now and no problems whatsoever. Howdiedoit and MadMax can vouch for their quality.
Some frequent questions are:
1) Q: Do the drills go through the vents of the rotor?
A: No, the machinist is extremely skilled to program the
machine to do the drilling without affecting the rotor.
2) Q: Are there any other modifications required for these rotors
to work?
A: These rotors are an exact OEM sized replacement.
Therefore, no other mods are need to make these fit.
3) Q: Do they have to be both Drilled and Slotted?
A: No, they can be just drilled, slotted, or both.
And another thing is about warpage. There is a brake in period for all rotors and I think it is about 400 miles. I've sold some rotors to some people before and they complain about warping. When I ask what they have been doing, they say they've been on the track. So, if you get these rotors, please do not abuse them when they are first on the car.
