So I got these same lower ball joints but under the raybestos name rather the moog name. I dind't realize these come dry, there was some liquid in there but no grease? i drove one these dry for like 2 days, is that going to cause problems? And how do you grease these up? I know through the small fitting that you can screw onto the side, but I have never done it before.
bumping this, i'm changing some parts soon and wanted to know how the moogs are holding up. Would you guys say they're up to par with the oem ones or better?
Beware.... I ordered the passenger and driver side moog tie rod ends from Amazon last month and one of them didn't have the "555" logo on it....
So I went to my local O'Reillys to get one and their Moog tie rod didn't have the "555" either!

Whats the deal?
May have figured this out but not sure........ After reading the side of the box, I noticed it said "Made in the USA" ..... So I called different oreilly stores and finally found one that had a box that said "Made in Japan"..... So I went and traded the one I had out with him and compared the boxes.... It seems the "555" ones were packaged prior to '09 and the USA were packaged in '11.
So maybe the "555" ones are on their way out of being found at part stores etc... stock up now!!
Here are pics of the parts. You can clearly see the size difference with the lower ball joints, the inner tie rods look like the Moogs are thinner, but thats just the picture. For some reason every picture I took of them looked that way, but in person they were the same size:
