What makes the 97-00 arms different from 92-96 is the bushing design. The 97-00 was made with a bushing that could be bought and replaced. lfrers even posted the part number for them on the 1st page.
Does this apply to both upper and lower control arms? That it was just a different bushing design? I've been wanting to upgrade to poly bushings, and since they don't offer them for 97+, i guess my only option would be to replace the arms with the older models.

92-00 SC3/400 UCA should be identical for all years if I remember correctly.
Yes, it will fit. A lot of times people are repeating information they're told, and not posting information they have tried.

from reading it seems like a lot of work.
i might just go ahead and try to get another set of control arms.
Why don't you just buy the right bushings for your SC? You don't even need to look up the part numbers.

I went on Supraforums, and it looks like I've sourced some '93 Supra control arms in good shape; now my question is this ... In order to improve upon them, will the Prothane Bushings for the '92-'96 SC fit on the Supra control arms?
If so, my problems solved.
I don't want OEM rubber bushings, even if I get a whole new set of arms.
I want the comfort, and something that won't deteriorate.

You obviously haven't been searching hard enough. This thread is one of the most complete discussions on the subject. It even links back to other threads that have more info. lfrers mentions the options on the first page. He posted the OEM part numbers to order stock bushings and mentions the daizen bushings in his post.
Everyone doesn't say "Get Daizens" because they are hard to source. When they first came out they were the best options, but over the years most companies have had Daizen parts on backorder forever. I was able to get the Daizen rear bushing set back in 08, but I was never able to get the fronts.
