KYb struts and Eibach springs
I have a 2002 gs430 with 140,000 miles and i believe i need new struts in the front.
I hear a banging noise when i hit the tar lines in the road.
Im going with eibach springs and KYB struts, it seems to be a proven solution.
I have new front struts, mounts and a set of Eibach springs coming but i can't afford the rear struts right now. Im also replacing the front lower caster arms.
If i put the new kyb struts, control arms and springs on the front now and wait a few weeks to buy and install the rear struts and Eibach springs later would that screw up anything else on my car?
I would get the front end alignment right away because I'm replacing, front caster arms, struts and springs. Would it ride okay with new struts and eibach springs on the front and stock suspension in the rear?
Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. I have a 1200 mile trip coming up around the 4th of july and i don't want to drive that far with the front banging over every little bump.
Thanks
Michael

I already bought KYB struts for the front, strut mounts and an Eibach pro kit.

I ALREADY bought KYB struts for the front and Eibach springs so it really doesn't matter what the price is for coil overs. Im also not interested in getting coil over because i already paid for the KYB struts and the Eibach springs.
Can anyone tell mewhat will happen If i put new struts and springs on the front and wait a few weeks to do the rear? Will that screw anything up? How will the ride be?
thanks

U can always check the classifieds even go back a few months to see if people still have them.. U never know.. U could get a nice set of Teins or Tanabe's for a good price used..

megans are crap though IMO
id rather go with tein basics than megans
eitherway, if you choose to do the fronts first, ull need an alignment then
and when you get the rear changed at a later date, ull need another alignment then
so it may be cheaper to do it all in one shot just to save on alignment costs (not that it costs a heck lot to do alignment)
