hey guys i was wondering if its worth buying a set of used BCR/Tein/Tanabe coils with say 20k on them for about the same price as a brand new megan EZ coilovers? or i'm better off buying a brand new megan ez coils?

I personally wouldnt take a chance with any coilovers with 20k miles, 9/10 the person didnt rebuild them, so now to get rebuilt you are at the cost of a new set of suspension.

I would do new either way especially for the brands you are referencing, if you said KW Club Sports, Motons, JRZ or anything along those lines id jump on those if they were USED for the same price as Megans.

I wouldn't take the risk of buying coilovers with over 20K on them. Remember there is no gauge on how long they really had it on their car. Take into consideration their driving habits, road conditions where they mostly on and the normal wear and tear that comes with it.

Just go withe the EZ. At least it comes with a 1 year manufacturer's defect warranty. I had mine for a little over 4 months now with almost 4K miles on them.
