Default Relocate Wirring Harness if dropped on MKIV TT Springs

Hey guys this might be an thread dicussed awhile ago but I really didn't find anything. If you lower an SC on MKIV TT Lowering Springs/Struts do you really need to relocate the wirring harness? When settled it should be about 2" lower correct I remeber on my solara I was about that and I had no problem w/fender rub what so ever. I have a couple of friends who lowered their SC's on TT setup and have NOT relocated the wirring harness and haven't had any problems. I would just like some opinions/concerns/etc. My wheels are 18X8 +38 tire size 245/40/18 if that helps.

Thanks

-Nick

Go look underneath the your driver's side fender well. If you see tire marks on the white plastic, then relocate it. It's still a good idea to relocate it regardless.

My friend is on 19's with a similar drop and doesn't rub.

You will find out when you drop it, and you will have enough time to relocate it before it chews through your wires

Not needed. You are effectively riding on a OEM wheel diameter. (your 245/40/18 is the same as the stock 225/55/16) The TT front springs only lower by 1", not 2". And anyway, the TT spring rate is much higher so the wheel travel will be less on rebound.

You're fine.
