Question Used shocks and springs, good or bad

Is it a good idea to buy a used set of shocks and springs?
Say, these are about 6 months old or 6k old...
I need to replace all mine with a newer one.. but don't want to spend another 600 dollars on the same kit.

ps: anybody willing to sell a set of supra NA shocks and springs?

3 of my shocks are shot... after going over a sidewalk at 45 mph.
They are leaking strange stuff...

why would you need springs for? I'm pretty sure they are fine. You just need the shocks.

I think he wants to change his suspension to Supra NA, so he would need new springs and shocks.

springs are good old or new. If you examine them they look and feel like they'll last forever thus I don't see any reasons for not buying them used to save some money.

Shocks are another story though. I'm more comfortable buying new shocks knowing that they're new unless your used shocks came from a reliable trustworthy source as to the amount of mileage they have.
