Default Looking for proper fitment =P

Trying to do some research and its hard to come across a good resource. I am not new to the car scene at all. So just curious what is working for everyone out there. I am just lowered ~2". Pics would always be nice! Keep in mind I want proper because this is my DD, and my only car so it needs to function. Everyone says 17's with +20 is nice but I want more input.

What is proper fitment to you? Some people consider "hellaflush" to be proper fitment... some (like me) like to just be flush...
Also, how wide of a rim do you want to go with?

Lex: How low are you, and what size tire will you be using? If you're dropped and going with at least a 235/40, you're most likely going to rub a little. I wouldn't chance it... you should roll your fenders.

Right now I'm on 18x9 +38 in the rear and with a ~2" drop and a roll, I would rub sometimes.

start here ^. should be a lot of info if you havent already seen it

if youre planning to go with 18s. you'd probably want a wheel in 7.5-9inch range wide wheel and +38-42 offset, for a "safer" daily. but then again i daily on a 18x8 +25

This is where I'm at. 17x9 +26 with a 215/45/17. In the front I have max camber with the spc camber kit and had to roll the rear fenders and tuck the front splash guard above the tabs in front. And that's it. And I had to up the spring rate on my coilovers because they were too soft for how low I was and my ball joint was smashing against my shock tower.
