Default BCR with Swift Springs

I have done a search, and there seems to be very little info on this.

Has anyone gotten BC Racing coilovers and swapped out the springs for Swift Springs? Is the ride quality still comparable to stock once you swap out for Swift Springs? Or should i just stick with the normal BCR springs.

Im hoping to get 10k/8k spring rates if that matters.

Reason I'm asking is because I go to the canyons once or twice a year, and the rest 99% of the time im just on the street. The Swift springs will surely help me in the canyons but I wouldn't want to be stuck with a harsh ride conditions for the other 99% of the time.

I have 12k/10k spring rates no gap in the rear, finger gap up front and the car rides like a dream. I forget sometimes that my car is even lowered.

Quik, what preload have you set on your springs? I am currently on BCRacing 12k/10k with their springs, and am thinking of going swift.

Oops. I don't it have swift springs just the ones that came with. What is special about the swift springs? I know most people run them if they run air cups to fit the cup.

I have Megan LPs and changed to the SWIFT springs. I increased my spring rate by 6k. Sounds like a lot, but honestly, the car rides almost the same as it did with the lower spring rate. However, the car feels tighter and I have been able to reduce the amount of scraping and rubbing...what I wanted to accomplish. A couple of things to point out: (1) if you increase your spring rate, you will lose some of your ride height adjustability; and (2) if your ID is 62mm like the Megans, you'll most likely need to go with the ID of 65mm and not 60mm. Good luck!

i have BCR coils with Swifts in the front. The reason was i had to fit my air cup suspension. But regardless of that, its a noticable difference compared to the stock BCR spring in regards to performance, but surprisingly its still rides very comfortably as well. Thinking about swapping my rears to Swift as well sometime in the future.
