Default Camber Kit Info Needed.

Hey guys,

I've never really considered getting a camber kit, but i want to a go a bit lower and am worried about uneven tread wear. Right now im 25 inches ground to fender and have -2% camber. I have no idea how fast my tire will wear out at this height, but i really don't want/or have the money to prematurely replace tires. I want to go about a half inch lower and am considering getting a camber kit if its gonna save me the hassle of replacing tires.

Im not exactly sure what i need. A front camber kit and a rear one? From a bit of reading i heard that SPC is the only company that makes a front camber kit. I hear megan racing makes a rear one. Keep in mind that i want to spend the least amount of money to get rid of my camber. Is that all i need? Just two parts? How much does it usually cost to have camber kits installed? And after this is done, will i have no issues with uneven tire tread at all? Is there any downsides to camber kits? Im just about done modding my car and i dont want to have to worry about my tires or my car in general.

Thanks guys!

If you have gotten a decent alignment, and are at the 2 degrees up front you can problem see 15k+ miles on your tires. Depends on the tire itself and the driving style too of course.

I'm personally dropped to 24.5" all around on BCRs with natural 2.5 degrees up front. I've been running on BFG KDWs since dropped and have gotten 15k miles before I had to dismount & rotate tires. Good for another 10k is my guess on the other side.

GL!
