Lower bvall joints and outer tie rod questions.. PLEASE HELP
#19
i just purchased the lower ball joints and outer tie rods from that seller autoparts.titan1 and the lower ball joints are the same as the ones you pictured...but the outer tie rods I got are black, not silver and they don't have the 555 stamp on them. They came in the moog box. One says made in japan and the other says made in USA. I'm not sure if I should return them or not... they seem good enough but im guessing they are both USA products. Are the outer tie rods supposed to move when you push the rod forcefully? They have MOOG written on the rubber part of the tie rods. I noticed the box says ASIA-SPEC on the red border instead of THE PROBLEM SOLVER like the op's pictures.

I'm currently thinking about replacing the INNER tie rods. I just want to elimate any type of trouble coming my way with the front suspension. I think I'll go MOOG all the way guys. If I do, I'll post pics asap!

So if I'm not mistaken, the MOOG inner tie rod part # is: EV80600... also there evidently both identically the same, on both sides. So you'll need a quantity of (2).... if anybody needs them, here's the link to where I might buy mine. Off eBay, for $27.95 off seller (madcheetah). Feedback as of right now, 1/8/2014 is at 100% with 15,558 POSITIVE stars. A good seller is always worth noting guys. Anyhow here's the link below:

Auto parts Titan is where I bought mine from too!!
I guess Moog decided to start manufacturing here in US for certain parts, at my work I was wondering the difference with the "Asia spec" boxes, I guess it's to show even though its not made in Asia it still meets the old standards as their Asian counter parts
$30 a piece is a good deal for the inners! I need to do mine as i have slack in my steering, I might just do both inner and outers for piece of mind.

I had two different ball joints on. :| I didn't have any noticeable slack but I chose to do it anyways and glad I did
