What's a good brake pads
Got a Lexus IS350. Stealership said i need new brake pads. Should i buy it from the stealership or buy it from somewhere else cheaper? If i do, whats a good brand?

Hawk or EBC are good aftermarket brands.
Less expensive ones are the Autozone brands or Oreilleys brands but I wouldn't recommend them for a Lexus.
One of the less expensive places online for Lexus OEM parts is Sewell, if you want to purchase genuine Lexus parts. Make sure you get the low dust pads.

Indeed! I put Hawk on my Honda and they were VERY grabby. Seemed to be worse in stop and go situations, which is the opposite of what you would expect (brake fade). I pulled them back off after a year and went with Raybestos. I have Hawk on the rear but no grabbing since the rear is such a small percentage of the braking.
Shortly after buying the IS (2 years ago), I bought Centric pads and rotors from Rock Auto for the front and rear. They are still on there, have plenty of pad left and I have never had any squeaking, grabbing, dusting or overheating issues with them. Regardless of which pads you choose, be sure you change the hardware and lube your caliper pins with caliper grease. Not doing those two things are a huge reason why many people have issues after changing their brakes.
