Default LS400 VS Supra TT Calipers

Which one helps you stop sooner?

By the way I did search but I got a lot of mixed results and just a bunch of numbers.

Thanks in advance.

Supra, they have more pad variety. Should really stop making threads.

Supra is better imo because no RCA is needed and better pad/rotor selection, but harder to find. I got all the info I needed by searching btw. There is a ton of info on this. I even have my wheels picked out and my is350 wheels for spare. Just waiting for the calipers to pop up.

Neither will help you stop sooner than your oem brakes which are a great system. What they WILL do is give you better pedal feel, better resistance to fading from heat (not usually an issue unless you are doing a track event on a road course) and will look cooler.

Imo you can get 75 pct of the above with upgraded ss lines, some quality synthetic high temp fluid like motul or ate, some more aggressive pads and caliper paint.

^ I agree with Dave and that's exactly what I did. If I would ever upgrade, it would be to a BBK. Only because you would probably wind up spending $400 - $700 anyway on the above setups. May as well put this towards a front BBK like Wilwood, Rotora or StopTech which you would probably spend $1200 or so on. GL!
