Need some advise on OEM struts v.s Aftermarket.

I have a 2008 IS250 Time to buy New TIres. I have 83k on the Car. When is a recommended time to replace struts?

I am in the process of switching my suspension now at 78,000 because I felt a decline in performance. I could tell shocks were old and worn. TIME TO SWITCH IN MY MIND! I'd say 83K is a good time to improve your suspension.

Upgrading of course, I got bored of driving it too, needed to spice things up, since it will never be a fast car, might as well make it handle like a MONSTER, that's my philosophy!

+1 on the BCRs. Figs offers custome spring rates so you can tailor them to your needs. In the long term the dampers can be individually rebuilt in the USA. They also have 30 way damper adjustment and ride great.
The OEM struts are made by Tokico and have a tendency to leak oil after a while.
I would also recomended replacing the FLCA bushings with the Figs/SuperPro bushings to help correct toe wear on your front tires.
