I am in the process of switching my suspension now at 78,000 because I felt a decline in performance. I could tell shocks were old and worn. TIME TO SWITCH IN MY MIND! I'd say 83K is a good time to improve your suspension.

Ok thanks. Are you keeping it stock or upgrading?

Upgrading of course, I got bored of driving it too, needed to spice things up, since it will never be a fast car, might as well make it handle like a MONSTER, that's my philosophy!

Stock is more expensive too, no reason at all to stay stock

+1 on the BCRs. Figs offers custome spring rates so you can tailor them to your needs. In the long term the dampers can be individually rebuilt in the USA. They also have 30 way damper adjustment and ride great.
The OEM struts are made by Tokico and have a tendency to leak oil after a while.
I would also recomended replacing the FLCA bushings with the Figs/SuperPro bushings to help correct toe wear on your front tires.
